My mother-in-law called and said Montana de Oro would be a good place to take photos with the storm coming in. So we went and picked up the in-laws and headed over there.
We had a really good time hiking and checking out the tide pools. We found plants, wildlife, gorgeous skies and waves.
This was a funny bird............not only was his orange beak strange, but he was very very loud!

Here is Dave he found a very large abalone shell, except it was out of reach, I know we are going to have to go back and see if we can find that shell at low tide soon.

How fabulous! We were there in November but didn't see the tide pools...we just walked the bluff area and took amazing photos of the beautiful rocks and ocean for several hours. I love this post!
