The Mission in San Luis Obispo had the prettiest flowers and trees. One tree looked like it had tulips on it, I have never seen this kind of tree before. The first tree is one of my all time favorites. Isn't it pretty?

Denise I loved this post! For one I loved the mission, as I have a post talking about a mission in Arizona that inspired us to decorate with the Spanish styles. I love your flower shots too...awesome!!~
What an interesting mission to visit. That flowering tree is simply stunning. Lovely post.
Such beautiful pictures. Look at all those blooms coming out on the trees.
Beautiful trees and Mission! I love the pink trees and those beautiful turquoise-colored bells.
The flowers are blooming. How lovely. Oh and the church too.
This is one of the missions I haven't seen yet. The trees are beautiful!
I love the patina on those bells and that second tree is absolutely beautiful! I would love to know what it is. What a pretty mission. Thank you for the link with more information.

Just beautiful!!! Love that tulip tree...it has a ton of blooms on it. I don't think I've ever seen one with so many.
Happy OW!!!
Hi Denise, Your photos are wonderful. A tulip tree is a gorgeous thing. I am longing for spring now. I also think the mission photos are lovely too.
Thanks for sharing today.

My husband and I went to Cal Poly, SLO. I don't remember the mission. We were there 1975-1978. We loved it! Joan
