My sister Denise is having a birthday!!!! It's her 29th!!!! Okay, maybe not 29 but my lips are sealed!
For those who may not know, Denise is not my sister by blood but rather by love. She is my brother Mike's beloved, my niece Hailee's Mama, my parents daughter and my cherished friend. When I sat down to write this there are so many wonderful things about her I wanted to share with all of you. Here are just a few:
My sister has a love of all animals. There are many animal rescue stories about her and my brother in the family. These pictures are from a cat rescue facility where they all volunteered.
Denise is a truly awesome wife and mother. My brother and my niece are her first priority.
I think this picture, while older, is my most favorite of the three of them.
Denise isn't just a homemaker, she is an excellent homemaker. Home is truly where her heart is. She loves to cook and do for her family. She is an amazing photographer and blogger.

I could say so many other wonderful things about my sister, but one of her best qualities, she is a true friend and supporter. My sister is always there for me, when the days have been the darkest in my life she has been no more than a phone call away, day or night. She is always there with practical advice and the ability to make me laugh. She always has my back.
